Andrea Schumacher Interiors is honored to be featured in LUXE Interiors + Design for a striking Cherry Hills Village residence that celebrates bold color, layered textures, and highly personalized luxury interior design in Denver.
Titled “Color Collision,” the feature highlights a family home designed from the ground up in collaboration with architect Todd Remington and Mitchell Builders. The project reflects a fully immersive approach to residential interior design, where every detail, from interior architecture to furnishings and art curation, was thoughtfully considered.
At the heart of the design is a vibrant textile that sparked the home’s entire color story. Rich tones of cobalt, mulberry, cherry red, and deep plum unfold throughout the interiors, creating a layered and expressive environment that feels both sophisticated and deeply livable.
The entry makes an unforgettable first impression with high-gloss blue lacquer walls by Fine Paints of Europe, paired with antique architectural columns that introduce a sense of history and contrast. This interplay between old and new continues throughout the home, where vintage and custom elements are thoughtfully combined to create spaces that feel curated rather than decorated.
In the kitchen, custom millwork, brass detailing, and a bold use of color elevate everyday functionality into a design statement. A deep mulberry island, cobalt tile, and a statement range create a dynamic focal point, while layered materials and finishes bring warmth and depth to the space.
Throughout the home, each room offers a distinct identity. A lacquered blue office creates a moody, immersive retreat, while a lower-level entertaining space channels the energy of a private speakeasy with rich textures and playful pattern. Bedrooms and private spaces introduce softer palettes without losing the home’s signature sense of personality and visual impact.
What sets this project apart is its emphasis on connection and livability. Rather than formal rooms, the home is composed of layered gathering spaces designed for real life, reflecting a modern approach to luxury interior design in Colorado that prioritizes both beauty and function.
