As I look back on 2025, I feel deeply grateful and wildly energized. This was a year that reminded me why I fell in love with design in the first place. It was about curiosity, collaboration, and the joy that comes from blending eras, cultures, textures, and stories into spaces that feel alive. It was a year of meaningful milestones that pushed our studio forward while staying true to our heart.
“Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen
One of the most exciting moments of the year was making my first Bravo TV appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”. It was surreal, energizing, and honestly sooo fun! Sharing my perspective on design on such a visible platform felt like a celebration of the journey that led us all here after 25 years in business. It opened new conversations and reminded me that design is not just about rooms — it’s about voice, point of view, and just a little bit of courage 😉

Kips Bay Decorator Show House, 50 Years of Design Excellence
Being selected to design a space for the 50th Anniversary of the Kips Bay Decorator Show House was a defining milestone for our firm. Kips Bay represents the highest level of design excellence, creativity, and philanthropy, and to be part of such a historic year was deeply meaningful. This project challenged us to push boundaries, tell a richer story, and create an immersive experience that felt transportive and layered. It was a reminder that design is both art and service, and that when creativity is tied to purpose, the impact is even greater.

A Heartfelt Thank You:
- Artistic Tile grounded the space in rich, tactile texture with stunning stone and tilework.
- The Vale London adorned the walls with our new collaboration, the Liesl collection, coming in January 2026!.
- Kohler elevated the bathroom with timeless plumbing fixtures, including their elegant Memoirs Console Table.
- Kravet provided drapery fabric that frames the room with a soft sophistication, while Romo lent the perfect upholstery for the lounge chairs.
- Custom bench cushions by Upholstery Services by MV, crafted in antique suzani fabric, add soul and character.
- A hallway swathed in wallcovering donated by Philip Jeffries creates a dramatic portal into the bathroom, where Modern Matter hardware gleams like jewelry against the finishes.
- Layered underfoot, Rug & Kilim’s area rugs invite warmth, while a sculptural side table from Lillian August brings balance and grace.
- Throughout, the walls and trim glow with Benjamin Moore paint, giving the space a polished foundation.
- A chandelier by Feyza Kemahlioglu from Wexler Gallery crowns the space.
- John Brooks sconces illuminate the fireplace with quiet drama.
- Ochre’s semi-flush fixture brightens the hall, while Hector Finch’s pendants dangle playfully over the benches.
- In the bathroom, Visual Comfort fixtures bring warmth and intimacy.
- To top it off, Amuneal’s glass-and-brass ceiling-mount shelf floats like jewelry overhead, adding architectural polish.

Growing ASI Studio and Entering the Hospitality World
This year also marked significant growth for ASI Studio, our hospitality and large-scale residential division. We continued to build momentum with projects including Oros in Crested Butte and the Waldorf Astoria Denver Cherry Creek Residences. These projects allow us to take our love of storytelling, materiality, and vibrant contrast into immersive environments where guests experience design on a grander scale. Hospitality design is about emotion, memory, and atmosphere, and ASI Studio is becoming an exciting extension of our creative world.

Expanding Nationally with New Energy and New Places
In 2025, our work continued to expand far beyond our home base. We welcomed wonderful new clients in Santa Barbara, across Florida, in Waco, Texas, and throughout the country. Each location brought its own rhythm, light, and cultural influence, and we loved responding to that with spaces that feel both grounded and unexpected. Whether coastal, desert, urban, or historic, our approach remains the same: mix eras, honor craftsmanship, layer color and texture, and create homes that feel deeply personal and joyfully lived in.

Gratitude, Always
None of this happens without an incredible team, inspiring collaborators, and clients who trust us to be bold. I am endlessly grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey. 2025 was a year of growth, celebration, and beautiful risk-taking, and it has set the stage for what comes next.
As we look ahead, I’m more inspired than *ever* to carry our story forward by mixing old with new, global with locally crafted, bold and adventurous with refined. Here’s to a new year filled with more color, more texture, more personal stories, and many more moments that make this work such a JOY.
XOXO Andrea
